Resource Guide--Developing School Policieson Children with School Health Care Needs (2007) 

The Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) has reviewed the "Resource Guide--Developing School Policies on Children with Special Health Care Needs (1996). Due to changes in various laws, rules and regulations, a new Resource Guide has been developed and will replace the 1996 guide. It provides information and guidance for any school districtfor providing special health care needs for any student with special health needs. Forms, including health care plans, medication administration and others are included in the appendices. In addition, the May 2000 Arkansas State Board of Nursing School Nurse guidelines as well as consent forms are provided in the Resource Guide.
