Regional Workshops
The Office of Coordinated School Health, in collaboration with the Community Health Nurse Specialists and the Education Cooperatives are offering regional workshops for k-12 teachers in integrating health education activities into the classroom. This one-day workshop will provide teachers with health education integration activities. Teachers will also spend part of the day doing Make-and-Take activities that can be utilized in their classrooms.
Registration for the workshop will be done through the Education Cooperatives. This workshop will have limited space: Registrations will be taken on a first come first serve basis for the first 30 K-12 classroom teachers.
This is also a good opportuntiy for Alternative Learning Education classroom teachers to obtain integration activities that can be used with students in ALE classrooms.
